I saw this while reading my friend, Traci’s blog, so I filled it out. Hmmmm, does it mean I can have a bit of a bite?

Seriously, does the laundry basket ever empty? I am sitting here waiting for the washer to finish so I can swap loads. I am just curious to know if the phenomenon ever occurs? I tried Ripley’s, they have no information that it does happen…..you know, empty wash basket for longer than 7.39 seconds. Well, I think there is a verse for this:
2 Thessalonians 1:4 (New International Version)
4Therefore, among God’s churches we boast about your perseverance and faith in all the persecutions and trials you are enduring. (emphasis added is mine)
Now wait, does that apply to laundry?
Here are some pictures from Pap’s birthday picnic we had on Saturday:

The women are, where else, in the kitchen getting ready.

Pop is on water gun refill duty

A view of the mountains.

Dh’s favorite place to eat, although they never made it there while on the trip.

A local view.
The Famous steak place they eat at every night!

Oh look, it’s your dinner walking along the side of the road!
Just wanting to wish you a very happy birthday Pap! You have been such a wonderful addition in my life, and sometimes I have to remember that you are not my grandfather by flesh. You have always treated me like I have been part of your family since the beginning. I love you, and all that you represent!

You are our favorite fisherman! We love you!
All our love,
John, Jen, Johnny, and Jeremy
Dh got home Saturday, safe and sound. Life is good, lol. He had only minor delays with his flights this time, which I was eternally grateful though. The boys and I had fun tracking his flight, although we were really sad that his plane flew right over our house, and he still had to keep flying to NJ. I am a little jealous that it only took him 27 minutes to get from Ohio to NJ……why can’t we get there that quick when we drive?(San, he flew right over your house, too!) He took some pictures while he was done there, and I will post a few when I download them. Thank you to all who prayed for me during this time!
